FAll 2013 Forum Key Note Speaker – Hida Viloria

Hida Viloria is Chairperson of OII, the world’s largest intersex advocacy organizationn and Director of OII-USA (http://oii-usa.org/). She has consulted the International Olympic Committee and the United Nations’ Human Rights Office about intersex human rights, and spoken on numerous television shows including 20/20 and Oprah. She has also written about intersex in The Advocate, Ms., The Global Herald, CNN.com, the American Journal of Bioethics, and others. You can follow her blog, Intersex and Out, on Tumblr.

Our keynote speaker – Ayesha Fleary

Here is Ayesha’s bio – Ayesha Fleary, is the Director of Information and Education for AAPDEP. She also serves as secretary for the Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations. She has presented worldwide on topics such as “Climate change and its impact on the African community” and “End the oppression of African women: Breaking through feminism”. She recently returned from Sierra Leone where she spent time meeting with community members who are working on the AAPDEP projects there. We are honored to have Ms. Fleary here to discuss the many projects of AAPDEP.
